We are always happy to assist customers in confirming suitability before purchase.

• Applications may vary
• Cosmetic differences may occur
• Manufacturer variations may exist

Product images are provided for reference only. Buyers are responsible for confirming compatibility prior to installation.

Where we provide:

• Custom manufactured components
• Refurbishment services

These services are supplied based on the information provided by the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that specifications, measurements, and installation details are accurate.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Part Sourcing Service

United Boat Parts offers a part sourcing service to assist customers in locating discontinued, rare, or specialist marine components.

While we make reasonable efforts to identify and source suitable parts through our supplier network, we cannot guarantee:

• Availability of discontinued items
• Manufacturer continuity
• Lead times provided by third parties
• Long-term stock availability

Where a part is specially sourced at a customer’s request, this may constitute a special order.

Specially sourced items may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless faulty.

All sourced parts are supplied subject to the original manufacturer’s condition and specifications. We aim to provide accurate descriptions and condition details prior to dispatch.

OEM & Original Equipment Parts

Where a product is described as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), this refers to parts manufactured by or to the original specification of the engine or equipment manufacturer.

Some OEM parts may be:

• New old stock
• Previously stored inventory
• Surplus stock

Cosmetic variations may occur due to age or storage conditions. Such variations do not affect functional suitability unless otherwise stated.

Buyers are responsible for confirming compatibility prior to installation. We are happy to assist with fitment guidance where possible.

Custom & Manufactured Components

United Boat Parts may supply custom-designed or manufactured components produced in-house or through approved fabrication partners.

Custom components are manufactured based on the specifications, measurements, or drawings provided by the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

• Measurements are accurate
• The intended application is correctly described
• Installation is performed competently

Unless explicitly stated, custom-manufactured parts are not certified for regulated or commercial marine use.

Custom items may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

Refurbishment & Inspection Services

Where refurbishment or inspection services are provided on customer-owned components, work is carried out based on visible and reasonably detectable condition at the time of inspection.

We do not guarantee future performance beyond the scope of the service performed.

Some legacy components may contain underlying wear or fatigue not detectable without destructive testing. We cannot accept liability for failures arising from such hidden defects.

All refurbished components remain the responsibility of the owner once reinstalled.

Technical Guidance & Advice

Any advice, recommendations, or guidance provided by United Boat Parts is offered in good faith based on available information and experience.

Final responsibility for installation, suitability, and safe operation remains with the customer or installer.

We strongly recommend that all marine components are installed by a competent and qualified individual.
